Abstract

Qiao Hu Editor at IgMin Research

Our mission is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and accelerate the advancement of knowledge across a wide spectrum of scientific domains.

Biography

Qiao Hu received the Ph.D. degree from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2006. He is currently a Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research focuses on the technology of "underwater intelligent perception and underwater robots". He has obtained over 60 authorized patents for invention and more than 20 software copyrights, published four monographs and three translated works, and published over 100 papers. He has formulated two national standards and three local standards for intelligent detection. He has long been engaged in research on underwater vehicle precise detection technology and engineering applications. He pioneered the theory of underwater multi-physical field biomimetic perception and target recognition methods, developed a variety of types of underwater acoustic and force sensing sensors and biomimetic lateral line arrays, and developed multiple sets of underwater intelligent target detection and recognition systems. These technologies have been applied in over 10 research units, effectively promoting the development of new underwater target detection technology and equipment model development and approval. He has completed over 10 projects, including national key research and development projects, equipment research and pre-research key projects. He has won eight science and technology awards, such as the first prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education, the second prize of Shaanxi Province Technology Invention, the second prize of the China Invention Association Invention, etc.
