Biography
I was born in Istanbul on April 18, 1963. I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. I became an associate professor in 1995 and a professor in 2000. I am currently a faculty member in the Department of Medical Biochemistry at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and responsible for the Medical Biochemistry Laboratory at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty Hospital.
I am the Head of Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Environmental Management Unit and the director of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Clinical Research Excellence Application and Research Center. I have been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Clinical Biochemistry Specialists since 2016. . I am married and have a son.

Endocrinology, neurology, cardiology nephrology, neonatal metabolic diseases, obesity, laboratory medicine and quality control issues
