Biography
Dr. Muhammad Hasan is currently working as a Foreign Research Fellow at Division of Engineering Geology and Water Resources, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS). He completed his PhD (2019) in Geological Engineering (Geophysics/Hydrogeology) from IGGCAS, and Master (2014) and Bachelor (2011) in Geophysics from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan (QAU).
At present, with 28 SCI articles as first author in recent 5 years, he is a leading researcher in his research field. He has worked on various joint-research cooperation projects/centers between China and Pakistan, including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC, a part of One Belt One Road). He is a well-known researcher for his innovative integration of Geophysics with other important research disciplines/fields (especially engineering geology and hydrogeology) to solve the most challenging problems.
He has authored (28 SCI papers as first author, 3 SCI papers as corresponding author, 6 conference papers), co-authored (8 SCI papers), reviewed (231 papers), and edited (11 journals) in the well-known peer reviewed SCI journals. He has h-index 16, i-index 25, 45 articles, and 700 citations. He is principal investigator (PI) or person in charge of 7 major projects with 167 万 funds.
He was honored by the prestigious awards/honors/funds (2023 NSFC Research Fund/Award for International Young Scientists, 2023 Ministry of Science and Technology Fund/Award for foreign young talents, 2023 SCO Science and Technology Partnership and International Science and Technology Cooperation Fund/Award, 2020 IIFI Postdoctoral award, 2019 most publications award, 2019 Excellent Graduate award, 2018 Excellent Student award, and so on) on his contributions to the international scientific community, locally, nationally, regionally, and internationally.
