Biography
I hold a Ph.D. in Biology, specialising in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Aveiro (2022). I also have a Master's in immunogenetics with research experience in Brazil, Portugal, and Germany.
My research interests lie in microbiology, biotechnology, and genetics. I have expertise in identifying, isolating, and characterising antimicrobial peptides. I've authored 11 original articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, I had 2 conferences proceeding communication, 10 posters communications and 4 oral communications.
