Biography
Professor Dr. Wang, Xianfeng is a distinguished Professor and Doctoral Advisor with exceptional accomplishments in the field of civil engineering materials and structural engineering. He is currently the Director of Structural Laboratory and Head of Simulation Center of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Durability for Marine Civil Engineering. He is also a member of the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Construction and Healthy Operation and Maintenance Underground Engineering, and Shenzhen Key Laboratory for Low-carbon Construction Material and Technology. Professor Wang serves as a Section Editor for Polymers (JCR-Q1), Editor-in-Chief for two journals, Advances in Modern Engineering Research and Marine and Environment, and holds editorial board membership in five reputable academic journals.
Professor Wang's research focuses on theoretical analysis and experimental investigation of various aspects of civil engineering materials and structural engineering, with a particular interest in self-healing concrete and the durability of concrete structures. His exemplary work has been recognized through multiple competitive grants and awards, including the National Key R&D Program Project of China, the National Natural Science Foundation General Project, the Ministry of Education Start-up Fund for Returned Overseas Personnel, the Ministry of Construction Soft Science Project, and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Program Project. Additionally, he was involved in several major projects such as the NSFC International Cooperation, the Guangdong Province Innovation Team Project, the Guangdong Province Key Field R&D Program Project, and the Shenzhen Basic Research Major Project.
Professor Wang has contributed extensively to his field, having published over 180 academic papers, including more than 90 SCI papers, two books, and two encyclopedia articles. Furthermore, he has received over 20 invention patents, 30 patents for utility models, and 30 software copyrights. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he has received several prestigious awards, including the second prize for teaching achievement from Shenzhen University, the second prize for outstanding achievement in teaching work from Tsinghua University, and the second prize for scientific and technological progress from the China Ministry of Education.
