Our mission is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and accelerate the advancement of knowledge across a wide spectrum of scientific domains.

Biography

Born on December 29, 1982, in Belgrade, she completed three grades at Belgrade High School with a perfect 5.0/5.0 average. She then pursued her education at Albert Calmette High School in Nice, France, earning her Baccalaureate diploma with Assez Bien honors in June 2002.

Her academic journey started at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (UNSA), where she graduated with honors (Bien) in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science in June 2005. Subsequently, she completed her Master's studies in Mathematics with an impressive average of 17.267/20 and received Tres Bien honors in June 2007.

Recognized as one of the top three students, she obtained a scholarship from the French Ministry of Research, commencing her doctoral studies in mathematics at the Department of Algebra and Topology. On February 24, 2012, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, titled "Morita's theory in an enriched context," under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Clemens Berger and co-director Prof. Dr. Svjetlana Terzić, earning the highest honor, Summa cum laude.

Her primary research areas encompass category theory and homotopy algebra, with additional forays into applied mathematics and mathematical economics. Notably, she delved into topics such as optimal control in growth theory and developed dynamic models of the labor market specific to the arts. Recently, she has directed her research towards applications in Data Science.
With numerous publications and participations at international congresses in both English and French, she also actively participated in various scientific research projects. From 2019 to 2020, she served as a full-time researcher on the innovative project: Joining to EUREF permanent network with Multi GNSS CORS stations in Montenegro - MontePN, funded by the Ministry of Science of Montenegro. Additionally, she contributed to bilateral projects between Montenegro and China and Montenegro and Slovenia.

In the period 2012-2016, as a lecturer, she taught at the University of the Mediterranean at MBS (Montenegro Business School) on the subjects Business Mathematics and Introduction to Econometrics (general studies), Quantitative methods for finance (master studies) and Applied quantitative methods (MBA). In the period 2013-2016. As a lecturer, she taught at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro, in French, on subjects within the double degree program of general studies in five quantitative disciplines: Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Statistics I, Statistics II and Introduction to Econometrics.
Since 2016, he has been teaching at the Faculty of Applied Science (mathematics) and Polytechnics, University of Donja Gorica, in the subjects Analysis I part one, Analysis I part two, Analysis II, Complex analysis, Engineering Mathematics I and II. Since February 2019, she has been full time employed as Assistant Professor at the University of Donja Gorica, teaching the aforementioned mathematical disciplines.

Furthermore, she holds several international diploma certificates, including a Certified Neural Networks and Deep Learning diploma from Stanford University, a Certified R programming diploma from Johns Hopkins University, and a Deep Learning Specialization from Stanford University, covering topics such as Neural Networks, Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization, Optimization, Convolutional Neural Networks, and Sequence Models.
