Biography

In 1996, she earned a degree in computer science at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Novi Sad. At the same faculty, in 1999, she defended her master's thesis entitled "Graphs in Delphi" and obtained the title of Master of Mathematics.

She obtained the title of Doctor of Mathematics in 2018 by defending her doctoral thesis entitled "Metaheuristic approach to solving a class of optimization problems in transport" at the Mathematical Faculty, University of Belgrade.

From September 1996 to June 1997, she was employed at the Faculty of Agriculture, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in Novi Sad as a professional associate. She taught algebra and mathematics. From January 2000 to October 2002, she was employed at the Kotor High School/Gymnasium, as a teacher of the subjects Computer Science and Informatics and Mathematics.

In that period, she passed the national professional exam in the field of informatics. From October 2002 to June 2016, she was employed at the Maritime Faculty in Kotor as a professional associate and then as an assistant. She taught courses in the study programs Shipbuilding, Nautical, Maritime Management and Maritime Sciences, namely in Mathematics, Probability and Statistics, Information Systems, Operations Research, Basic Computing and Computers and Informatics. From September 2016 to December 2016, she worked at the Faculty of Information Technologies of the Mediterranean University in Podgorica as a lecturer in a group of IT subjects.

Since January 2017, she has been employed as a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica on the subjects of Geometry, Analytical Geometry, Probability, Statistics, Random Processes and Mathematical Probability and Statistics. 

She is one of the authors of the mathematics script used in the teaching process at the Maritime Faculty, University of Montenegro. She is also a co-founder of the spin-off innovative company MoDrone.
